    World Series: Gadulka Strings

    AUDiOSTRiKE | 28/02/2015 | 1.15 GB

‘World Series: Gadulka Strings’ is the latest in this series of packs that feature compositions from all over the world, performed using rare and unique instruments. This pack contains high quality recordings of Gadulka, suitable for film, advertisements and music productions. These traditional compositions were performed by a professional Gadulka player and recorded using Schoeps CMC 6 phantom powered amplifier and Colette Modular Capsule from two different positions. The Gadulka is a traditional Bulgarian bowed string instrument. It has three (occasionally four or five) main strings with up to sixteen sympathetic resonating strings. Only the main melodic strings are touched by the player’s fingers and the strings are never pressed all the way down to touch the neck.  The instrument is held vertically, with the bow held perpendicular in an under-hand hold. A possible origin of the Gadulka may be the Crete Lira (Crete Island), Calabrian Lira (Italy) or the Kemenche strings (Turkey).

    FANTASTiC | 22 May 2023 | 403.70 MB

We are proud to present our latest release “Alaturka Violin” containing professionally played and recorded violin melodies ready to give you all that Alaturka feeling using traditional performance techniques. Alaturka is a music term used during the past century to define Turkish Classical Music. When first coined in Europe, the word ‘Alla Turca’ referred to the Turkish influence on western music. Then the word entered into Ottoman Turkey, together with Western musicians, invited by the Sultan himself, to reform the musical world of the capital in Western lines. This style provided a bridge between the past and present, and a cultural bridge between the ‘east’ and the ‘west’. In detail expect to find 540MB of raw content featuring 90 beautifully played “Violin” phrases at 90/110/130bpm including a dry version (w/o any additional e.q, compressor or reverb effects) and wet version of each, giving a total of 180 files. All loops are in key and tempo-labeled for ease of use. All sounds are ready to fit straight in your tracks.
