Istanbul: Lavta
FANTASTiC | 29 April 2023 | 240.39 MB
“Lavta” is a plucked string music instrument from Istanbul and has a small body made of many ribs using the carvel bending technique, which looks like a small oud with a longer neck and has more frets that are less evenly spaced in order to produce the quartertone notes of makams in Turkish music. It has only 7 nylon strings in 4 courses and the tuning pegs are violin-shaped, with 3 on the right side and 4 on the left side of the open tuning head. The bridge usually has mustache-like ends and the fingerboard is flush with the soundboard, which is often unvarnished. In detail expect to find 506MB of raw content featuring 90 beautifully played “Lavta” loops at 90/110/130bpm and includes a dry version (w/o any additional e.q, compressor or reverb effects) and wet version of each, giving a total of 180 files. All loops are Key and tempo labeled for ease of use. All sounds are ready to fit straight in your tracks.
