Largo 2 is the software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA. A fully-fledged Waldorf synthesizer for your virtual rack. The UI has been redesigned and now enables continuous scalability. Whether you use a 5K monitor or the FHD screen of your laptop, whether viewing in full size or as a small status display – the plug-in always remains in focus. 3 fat oscillators per voice (two of them with sub oscillators) with classic waveforms and 68 Wavetables taken from the legendary Microwave and Wave synthesizer and also the Q and Blofeld – 2 independent multimode filters – up to 4 layers per sound and 4 stereo outputs. We have added a variety of three formant filter types which mimic the frequency response of the human vocal tract. By using the cutoff parameter you can morph between the vowels a-e-i-o-u for all your favourite choir and voice-like modulations.

This package includes six royalty-free Construction Kits with tonnes of excellent 32-bar WAV tracks, MIDI files and modern presets for various VST instruments. After tremendous success (10+ weeks in the top 10 charts) with the first two Volumes in this series, this Volume goes to the next level of quality. Each Construction Kit is made with love to give you inspirational and absolutely new material. Each track is separated into layers, with 32-bar dry and wet variations, plus tails. All WAV files were created with a volume margin to allow future mastering. You’ll also find fully mixed & mastered mixes.

Largo is the first pure software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA. And again – it is the cutting edge sound that makes the big difference. No wonder, as Largo mirrors the technology used in Blofeld and Q hardware synthesizers. As for every Waldorf instrument, ergonomics are a core feature on screen as well. Your eyes will be pleased with a clearly structured, graphical user interface that supports your workflow intuitively. Largo offers three fat oscillators, two of them with sub oscillators. These oscillators include models of classic analog waveforms as well as a selection of waves from the PPG and Waldorf Wave stored in two Wavetables. All these run through two Waldorf multimode filters with steep cutoff, resonance up to self-oscillation and a drive stage to add even more punch and grainyness to the sound. Ultra-fast envelope generators and flexible LFOs as well as an easy to understand, yet extremely versatile modulation matrix make for a sound designer’s dream.
