From layered wonky beats to tight and technical slices, from dusty vinyl to refined sonics, ‘Twisted Breaks’ delivers a diverse pallet to bring to life any music production, regardless of genre. All drum and percussion loops come in layered, fully mixed forms. Included are a wide variety of rhythmic feels from futuristic, experimental and psychedelic beats to the more classic, nuanced, tried and true stylings.
Twisted ASMR is a collection of 197 subtly glitched and creatively processed sounds that you will not find anywhere else. We captured an abundance of eclectic found sounds, whispers, instruments and noises and transformed them into living, moving, tingle-inducing creations that will help make your music more immersive and captivating. Expect the unexpected! Here’s a list of some of the sounds and source materials used throughout the production of this unique release: Human whispers, taps, movements, scratches and mouth noises, various textiles and fabrics, elk and deer antlers, glass beads, singing bowls, paperclips, assorted mechanical tools, musical instruments, childhood toys, raindrops, crackling fires, velcro, various forms of plastic, wood and metal. We also used a wide range of effects including ring modulation, tremolo, creative delays, unique filters, spectral processing, time stretching techniques and more.
Welcome to the world of circuit bending, where rewired synths, modified toys and twisted electronics combine to create an extreme combination of sounds like nothing you have ever heard before. A.S.M.O. and Airbag Killex (Warped Phonics) have created a diverse selection of loops, samples and one shot sounds from their personal collection of circuit bent gear that really push the boundaries of music and sound design. Killex provides dark techno inspired loops and Stu a diverse selection of warped sounds, effects and one shots, full of personality and expression. The sample pack can be used in a variety of ways, from chopping up and looping to creating soundscapes, sound effects and rhythmic patterns for use in a variety of music and sound design applications. Many of the loops have dark techno-like undertones, but the possibilities extend far beyond any one genre, so we’ll leave it up to you how you want to interpret the sounds.
