Normally, this isn’t the way you would record a classical piece, but you will find that this perspective gives you a great presence and brilliance. It has the raw edge needed to cut through a pounding rhythm section, or to back up a powerful vocalist. This library has been finely tuned to work with Reason’s NN-XT Sampler.  Also included are 14 combinator presets that combine the NN-XT instruments with the effects. This beautiful Steinway Model L Grand piano was recorded at Whip Records in Berkeley, California. Using Neumann U67 microphones and high quality preamps, multiple layers were recorded at 24-bit resolution.Each sample was reviewed, and the best were assembled to create the Platinum Grand. As a result of this process, the samples are perfectly matched, sound great, and are free of artifacts. This natural sounding piano will work in any track mix.
