    GUITARS IN SPACE is instrument based on electric guitar sound source. We mainly used Jazzmaster style guitar in recording process, and baritone fretless for additional effects. This instrument is a tool for ambient and cinematic indie genre, with very little space required and without (in our opinion) patches you will never use, since often there is a case where customer purchases big sample library and uses only small part of it. This is NOT a fully sampled guitar with many various articulations. This is a tool that has several complementary elements created for composers seeking “that” specific sound. It is simple, compact and easy to use and it blends perfectly with pianos and ambient string sounds.

Eli greets you and then goes over all the Space Delay controls and parameters, and how they combine tape delays with spring reverb for awesome retro tape delay vibes and character. You’ll then examine the ranges and sound of the three discreet delays, listen to the modes combining Space delay’s spring reverb effect with various combinations of delays, and four different approaches to a “mono in mono out” instance of Space Delay on a lead female vocal. Moving on, you’ll explore four scenarios where unique panning of reverb and delays, in conjunction with other Space Delay features, is used on a vocal bus. Then look at a few different examples of Space Delay outputting stereo delays and reverb from a mono input from a lead guitar, how to apply Space Delay on drums when placed on an effects return bus, and lastly, Space Delay on a Fender Rhodes piano. Tying it all together, Eli shows you how to achieve awesome tape speed and feedback swell effects by automating Space Delay’s rate and feedback controls from your DAW.
