Recordings taken from premium acoustic drums and percussion and feature excellent performance and sonic detail.

In this mixing course, you’ll learn many techniques and tips for getting great sounds out of less-than-perfect-sounding tracks, all of which can be applied in numerous scenarios, regardless of genre. By the end of this mixing rock course, you’ll be raring to go and tackle that tricky mix that you thought was a lost cause. These videos are designed for intermediate-level mix engineers. Alberto begins by discussing what he’s going to be covering in the course, so you’ll know exactly what you can expect. Then it’s on to drums, where you’ll learn how to create a killer-sounding drum foundation by enhancing the sounds and/or triggering/layering samples while still retaining a human feel. Guitars and bass follow, and Alberto takes you all the way from raw DI tracks to phenomenal-sounding full tones using a few surprises along the way.
