With an all-new entirely procedural GUI (featuring full Retina and Windows HiRes compatibility), a new cross-platform preset mechanism, a new reverb algorithm, the addition of crossover controls, the addition of VST3 versions, and a ground-up rebuild for future-proofing, Eos 2 is a worthy successor to our all-time best-plugin. Eos consists of four high-quality custom-designed reverb algorithms, made with the modern production environment in mind. Three different plate simulators and our own Superhall algorithm give you a broad palette of reverb, and the easy-to-understand interface makes adjusting the algorithms to suit your track incredibly simple. Want a traditional dark plate reverb? Eos can do that. How about a short, dense room sound for your drum buss? Not a problem. But where Eos really comes in to its own is when you drop Superhall on your piano or synthesizer tracks. 1989Verb is an homage to Late 80’s Reverb tones. Based on an 1989 Digital Reverb unit, the 1989Verb not only features the characteristics of the original unit but it also features a HiPass and LoPass to enhance the experience. A simple interface allows you to dial tones quickly. You can choose the patch from the dropdown menu or just simply keep clicking the arrows until you reach that golden tone. Whether your Drums need more weight, synths need more air & excitement, vocals need that warm space to dwell in; 1989Verb is a perfect pair for any retro fan! Fusion Field is a smooth reverb that sits beautifully in a mix. It’s clean, unobtrusive sound has a natural falloff that floats behind, and complements the source material perfectly. Fusion Field is very easy to use, and the main display shows the effects of the dampening and EQ in a plain natural way. The reverberation can be dampened in the upper and lower frequencies, allowing soft sibilance and a graceful, lifting air to the sound. Having very few controls does not hinder Fusion Field’s usefulness. The dial ranges have been sloped to give the best sensitivity in useful regions, and the whole unit can create short snappy rooms, or vast time-suspended spaces, and anything in between.
