Evil Twin is a Reaktor 5 and 6 software Ensemble for creating cinematic sound design, BPM synced rhythmic loops, intense impacts, whooshes, glitches, drones, and special effects. Evil Twin is sample-based and contains a custom 128 sample library from SoundMorph. You can also load your own samples easily. If you own the new Reaktor 6, Evil Twin is a must have.
Another Great instrument for Reaktor. This one consists of 4 granular samplers, each can be manipulated in numerous ways (6 modulation destinations at the same time) and these can be automated over time to create deep abstract Ambient soundscapes, making the 200 implemented original samples unrecognizable. Reaktor Atmosphere allows to import own samples as well.
Teppichleger is a samplebased ambient/soundscape/textures/collages/score/industrial… machine with 4 generators, 3 FX-entities and a filter-section (there are 96 chooseable fx/filter modules overall). All generators, fx, filter are extremly flexible to mix and modulate and could be optionally used to generate, soundscapes in sync to the beat, repetitive or evolving and constantly changing. There are 128 high-quality waves for the 4 generator slots, that could be expanded later on with theme based extensions.
Quadrimorph is a 4 way spectral crossmorphing tool for Reaktor 5 & 6, aimed at the creation of unheard sounds by morphing in real-time between four different samples.
Let’s be real: Reaktor can be intimidating at first glance. But behind the complexity is an incredibly powerful modular synthesis environment that can create anything from synthesizers, grooveboxes, and sequencers to sample transformers, sound generators, and effects. In Reaktor Modular Synthesis with David Earl, you’ll learn how to tweak Reaktor’s 70+ included instruments and make your own from scratch. David is Native Instrument’s product specialist and he knows the software inside and out.
A look at the new updated Reaktor BLOCKS BASE. A free download as part of Komplete Start it contains everything you need to start exploring modular synthesis. The pack contains 24 blocks in total, from fundamental utilities like audio I/O, note in, and MIDI clock, to an accessible range of sound shaping LFOs, ADSR envelopes, VCAs, and step sequencers. CV connectivity is also offered, giving you the possibility for hardware integration. Matt firstly runs through the new cabling system before giving us the lowdown on what is actually happening with modular synthesis when we push a key on our keyboard. We then look at building a simple playable batch and sequenced patch before diving into the more experimental side of modular synthesis using some of the elaborate ‘PRIMES’ modules included in the paid version to create unpredictable and interesting sounds.
