Taking inspiration from a classic Japanese synth, Intellijel Korgasmatron II is a dual voltage controlled filter which can also be used as a limited oscillator. Any sound passed through it comes out richer, more nuanced, more fiesty and colorful, largely due to the distortion characteristics of the resonant drive controls on each filter, and the fact that you can modulate and blend between two bold filters on settings as widely divergent as you like. Fire it up in Softube Modular and start producing magic, from classic MS-20 type sounds to totally new territory.
Add subtle extra harmonics, or dive headfirst into total folded madness. Intellijel µFold II is a wavefolder which shapes the timbre of an oscillator or any other audio signal you feed it. With just a few simple controls the µFold II (pronounced ‘microfold’) lets you manipulate the harmonic spectrum, going from subtle additional harmonics for air, grit, and flavor, to total folded insanity. Available as an officially licensed expansion for Softube Modular, it lets you create a vast range of timbres from any source, but is essentially easy to use and cleanly thought-out.
Your favourite synth (-plugin) has only one oscillator, but you want to have some beat frequencies? Want to make a brass sound more full, fatten up vocals or drums? dTUNE will do this by adding two detuned voices to your original signal. Very easy to use: just set the amount of detuning, how much the 2 signals (up and down detuned) should be spread in the stereo panorama, and how much of them should be mixed to the original (stereo) signal. This is not another chorus plugin. dTUNE doubles the incoming signal, constantly tuning one copy up and one down according to the Amount knob and mixes this to the original signal.
