“Quick EDM” is a really basic, standard EDM sound set. All the patches are practical, and are neatly categorized. The detailed categorization enables you to look for the sounds without annoyance. Why to chose this package? One big reason is that it comes with the great zebra skin — “Pocket Modular“. Everything is redesigned. Super-easy to use. Exciting & creative UI…
This Chaos Engine has up to 120 different sounds/articulations per sequence node which are very loosely mapped across the keys from from low kick drum type sounds through snappy snare type sounds up to more clicky, rattly hats and then the mildly melodic sounds up near the top end of the key range.
In this video, I introduce a framework I designed to easily create modular synths in Reaktor, which is the topic of this month’s Reaktor tutorial. The user will learn how to create Send/Receive modules that can be used to easily connect modules together, and draw a wire between them to signify the connection. Once this is complete, audio modules are very easy to design to work with the system. A simple example is shown, connecting an envelope to an oscillator, and the oscillator to the audio output.
This collection of 25 Lead patches ranges from thick multi-oscillator synths to punchy percussive plucks to resonating cutting leads. The sound is characterful, modern and in your-face proving that analogue doesn’t necessarily mean old, dusty and dull!
B2 is a modular dual-engine, non-linear spatial processor featuring built-in harmonic distortion and flexible dynamics. It is our most advanced plug-in to date and is capable of both mind-bending creative effects that defy classification as well as stunningly lush reverbs. Its modular design enables an almost infinite variety of sonic possibilities. It is arguably the most sophisticated processor of its class available.
For the past 10 years or so I’ve always carried some kind of portable recording device and a pair of OKM in ear microphones around with me and kept a kind of aural diary of great sounding things and great sounding places. I’ve made literally gazillions of recordings in places all over this side of the world, and like most diaries these recordings have mainly been sitting in dark cupboards waiting for someone to rediscover them… The Modular Chaos Engine is the perfect repository for 785 of them. I’ve selected the most usefully percussive, clangy, bangy, thumpy, boomy, itchy, scratchy, thwacky and whacky, added a really powerful sequencing engine and made a “found sound” drum machine. There are some really great sounds in there (there is a list of some of them at the bottom of the page).
