Korg’s 01/W workstation synthesizer debuted in 1991 as the follow-up to the popular M1. The O1/W was the second chapter in Korg’s workstation legacy, which goes on to this day with the Triton and Oasys series. The O1/W was geared towards beginning home studio enthusiasts that wanted to take a step further into a more professional realm. Compared with the M1, the 01/W featured many enhancements including a more dynamic 16-track sequencer (the M1 only had 8-tracks), 254 real world sampled instruments to the M1’s 100, polyphony was doubled from 16 to 32 voices, and greater overall control.
Each m1.syx and WAVESTATION.wsram bank file has now been converted into a .fxb bank file to load into KORG Collection with fl studio and a mouse weel click. you can also load them in using the plugin interface, HaVe FuN :)
FK1 Kontakt instrument is a virtual Korg[1] Mini-Pops 7 analogue drum machine from the 1970s. This machine was also branded as the Univox SR-95[2] and Contessa Mini Pops. As a top-of-the-range model it featured 15 sounds and 20 rhythms. The drum sounds were produces using inductor coils (sometimes referred to as tuned tanks) and gave a lovely warm sound. The rhythms could be combined with each other to create new patterns, indeed this is how Jean-Michel Jarre — probably the most famous user of this machine — created the rhythm for Oxygene part 2.
iMS-20 is an analog synth studio; a complete recreation of the Korg MS-20 synth, an analog sequencer, a drum machine, and even Korg’s Kaoss Pad technology. Plus, you can share your songs online via the SoundCloud! iMS-20 is a complete music production app for iPad. It consists of a complete recreation of the legendary Korg MS-20 analog synth with the patching capability, plus a 16-step analog sequencer based on the Korg SQ-10, a six-part drum machine which can create drum parts by simply tapping the buttons, and a seven-channel mixer with 14 types of effects.
Virtual Analog has come a long way. Take Korg’s MonoPoly Rack Extension for example. Not only does it replicate the capabilities and sounds of this classic hardware synthesizer, but it exceeds the original with features like true polyphony and unison. In fact, MonoPoly is the perfect starting point for creating next-gen electronica timbres in Reason! It’s only drawback is that it doesn’t come packed with any Combinator patches whatsoever. Let’s fix that, shall we? Introducing our latest ReFill – featuring MonoPoly – Analog Theory.
