The idea behind NanoMods is a deceptively simple one: take a series of rich, powerful analogue waveforms and pack them into a small, clever sound engine that takes all the effort out of dialling up your own classic patches. The result is a miniature synth module that’s dead easy to use, but which has got it where it counts: in the sound. Each NanoMod aims to fill a specific sonic niche – pads, basses, strings and so on – building into a collection of fresh and focused sounds for your music. As we release more of them, and the collection grows, you can pick and choose the NanoMods you want. They all share similar simple but powerful interfaces, allowing you to dial up your own tones swiftly and efficiently using clever controls that actively help you get the results you want. Each of the synth-style NanoMods starts with two blendable source waveforms sampled from hardware analogue synths, chosen for a specific sonic task (like pad sounds, or string machines).

Emma Legato has been created in response to customer demand for a true Legato sample library, but what does that mean? ‘True Legato’ is a sampling technique that allows the user to perform expressive and highly realistic parts by recording not only the single notes in the range of the musician, but also the transition between each note and every possible other… it’s a huge amount of samples!

We are excited to release Xperimenta Handpan, the second library of the new Book series. The Handpan is a modern percussion instrument, inspired by the physical properties of the Trinidadian steelpan, Indian ghatam, Thai gong, and Indonesian Gamelan. For its harmonics and its tone, the handpan is a both relaxing and creative instrument, that can give a unique sound to your music. It comes with 20 Creative Layers, from Analog Synths and Acoustic Instruments, that deeply expand the possibilities of the library. Handpan turns out to be a very useful and ready-to-go tool for cinematic composing,modern music production as well as classic and detailed Handpan sound.
We are excited to present our new Book Series product: Chalumeau, with True Legato articulation and a unique warm and folk tone. “The chalumeau is a single-reed woodwind instrument of the late baroque and early classical eras. The chalumeau is a folk instrument that is the predecessor to the modern-day clarinet.” The instrument we used was handmade by the great artisan and flute maker Max Brumerg with Cherry Tree Wood. We sampled Vibrato and Non Vibrato Legato, Staccato and more than 50 phrases.
