Piano macro lets you blend and independently pan two simultaneous signals: “contact” controls the contact microphone’s signal, while “distance” lets you balance this with a more rounded and traditional dynamic mic. run this through some easy-access effects processing, and that’s it!

Introducing Nightmare Violin – an essential tool for horror composers. This bone-chilling library features a collection of eerie articulations, including unsettling pizzicato swarms, weaving ponticello sustains, haunting ricochets, and violent tremolos (6x round-robin) that will send shivers down your spine. But that’s not all—Nightmare Violin also comes packed with 40 ominous textural pads and evolving drones, ideal for crafting dark, immersive soundscapes that pull your audience into the depths of fear. We recorded this instrument in a dry studio environment, using a pair of Neumann TLM 102’s and Sound Devices preamps to get maximum detail, clarity, fidelity and clean dynamic range. To take things further, we’ve also designed 20 custom FX presets to deliver an extra jolt of terror to your next film, video game score, soundtrack, or music project. These expertly crafted presets are engineered to instantly amplify the tension, creating nerve-wracking atmospheres that keep listeners on edge. Nightmare Violin is your key to unlocking a world of darkness, bringing haunting sound to life with every note.
We span the arc between memories of a completely analog era and retro-futuristic visions of neon-lit dreamscapes. A journey through time into the world of nostalgic synthesizer vibes. Warm, humming synth giants with the charm of dust and hum, immersed in the depths of vintage tape echoes and spring reverbs. The time stands still, and a deep longing takes hold of you when listening to Novu. Novu is a lovingly curated collection of specially crafted synthesizer sounds. We painstakingly ran our old synthesizers through an entire armada of vintage effect units and tape machines – reel-to-reel recorders, lo-fi delays, and unconventional filters – all carefully selected to create an unstable character and dark warmth. At the heart of it are iconic synthesizers like the Prophet-5, Juno-60, and Jupiter, along with some hidden gems that each bring their own timeless charm. The result? A truly unique and expressive instrument, rich in vintage textures and full of soulful happy accidents. This is nostalgia, reimagined.
Degradation engine introduces the vibrant heart of an analogue synth to the fractured forgetfulness of microcassette – and opens up a deep world in between. Degradation engine works very similarly to a regular subtractive synth – you get your filter, an ADSR, a mixer, and some handy effects. what sets it apart is its two oscillators, which each have two knobs controlling “loss”. These knobs fade between the oscillator’s raw signal and a degraded version sampled through a microcassette tape – so, with each oscillator, you can choose any point between a raw analogue waveform and total tape fragility. not only this, but each oscillator has two types of degradation, with the samples recorded both at full-speed and half-speed. full-speed has a more brittle sound whereas half-speed is warmer and rounder – and again, you can go anywhere between these two extremes and bearing in mind that there are two waveforms per oscillator, it gets very deep very quickly…
