Using advanced layering techniques Flux302 has managed to bring drums to life, these drums will slice through your mix like a ginsu knife and have you chopping up beats in no time. Not only did Flux302 deliver on the drum side but he also included over 110 multi-sampled velocity layered instruments derived from some of the leading analog and hybrid hardware synthesizers including modular and boutique synthesizers. All sounds were recorded with the utmost quality and unique environments to provide truly unique character to your sound that can only come from authentic recordings.
One of the more aggressive forms of dance music, Hardstyle mixes influences from hard trance, hard house and hardcore Mixing various influences from Hard House, Hard Trance and Hardcore, Hardstyle is one of the more aggressive forms of dance music often employing a hard, distorted (“barking”) kick drum mixed amongst melodic leads and binary motifs. It is also one of the more complex genres of dance music for artists to produce, requiring knowledge of a number of techniques including unusually excessive EQ, judicious frequency specific distortion, detuning, sound design and synthesis layering. Consequently, due to the depth of the production techniques we’re releasing this tutorial in a 3-disc format.

Named after the Greek god of dreams, the Morpheus is an aluminum percussion instrument made by the US company Freenotes. The instrument is modular; the keys can be rearranged in any order you like, as each metal bar is attached to its own tuned resonator. The instrument is available in several different sizes – the version we sampled is two and a half octaves, with the optional ‘bass Wing’ extension which offers six notes ranging another octave below that of the main unit. The keys are struck with custom mallets, also built by Freenotes, and ring freely afterwards. There is no damping mechanism.
With Minimal, SNK BV delivers the fourth instalment in our current range of orchestral instruments. We have listened to our users, and built an entirely new system from the ground up, defining what we think is a revolutionary novel direction in orchestral pattern-based sampling. Minimal would suggest a particular music style, and many of the patterns available in this instrument are very well suited for that style. However, we’d like to stress that this is indeed a very flexible instrument, capable of enhancing a broad range of musical arrangements and compositions in a wide variety of styles. Where Minimal differs from libraries like Tutti and Vivace is in its section-based approach. All phrases are recorded per orchestral section and can be used separately or together and in any combination, allowing for a great deal of variations at your fingertips.
