From processed foley samples to manipulated granular soundscapes, side-chained noise and beyond, these incredible organic percussion loops & samples add endless movement.
Granulate is a powerful granular synthesis engine for Kontakt 5, which allows any audio file to be processed in a variety of ways, to create lush pads, rich granular textures and punchy rhythmic synths. Use the built-in presets, or use your own audio by loading a sample into Kontakt’s mapping editor. With its included library of over 50 inspiring presets, Granulate has plenty of content ready to use, out of the box. However, Granulate is designed to be a flexible and expandable tool for easily creating your own custom sounds. The presets are mainly included for inspiration, and only cover a fraction of Granulate’s sonic possibilities. You are encouraged to import your own audio files, to create sounds that are truly yours! Because Granulate runs inside Kontakt, it has the benefit of being able to load NCW files (a proprietary audio format used by many commercial sample libraries). This means you can import and process sounds from other sample libraries you own, extending your sonic palette even further.
Fracture XT is a granular glitch processor designed to facilitate the creation of mind-bending malfunctions, contorted articulations and evolving digital textures. Fracture XT is based on our free & critically acclaimed Fracture plugin and builds on its strengths with the addition of a new granular processor as well as improved buffer, delay and multi-mode filter algorithms. Our grains processor makes it possible to create anything from moody drones to pointillist patterns. Fracture XT’s many enhancements and new features bring a broad range of exciting effects to your sonic toolbox. Infinitely randomize new patches or get surgical and craft articulate presets with care. Process anything from drum and percussion sequences to synth lines, sound effects and real-time input from your hardware instruments, drum machines and noise boxes. From mellow dub delays to dense holographic grain clouds, Fracture XT’s diverse processing functions make it simple to give your projects a unique creative edge.
AQUIVER now delivers 1000 powerful, deep and soaring granular sounds and weights around 4GB. It is powered by a custom granular engine that can play hundreds of small grains of audio with no huge CPU impact. AQUIVER is ideal for movie scoring, underscore and futuristic sound design. It features realtime recording of knob movements, a FX engine with bread-and-butter effects and a unique lock switch. Using that, you can skip through instruments while locking the current settings in place. Perfect for trying out different sounds without loosing current knob and/or effect settings. A new volume knob with motion recording has been added as well as the possibility to now play back motion recordings in ping-pong (forward/backward) mode for smoother transitions.
“Granular Moon” is a work of dedication to explore ever-evolving sounds. One year in the making, it contains a huge number of atmospheres, pads, field recordings and an additional arp section. All atmospheres and pads are assigned to Mod Wheel and become pulsing sounds, fully editable, synced to your BPM, for the most flexible use as underscore textures. The real core of “Granular Moon” is the Multis folder, here you will find the whole potential of these evolving sounds.
The Mangle grew from years of experiments with granular synthesis. The goal was to ‘play’ with the stream of grains in a musical and expressive way. This led to some unique features: a large XY area with real-time grain display. Pitch and tempo locking. True stereo grains and multi-timbral layering. Stretch out rich harmonics from acoustic sounds. Turn field recordings into ambient soundscapes. Or bring in synth sounds to be shredded, exploded and recombined with intricate patterns and cloud effects.
