A Rogers Holiday 1968 set, recorded through a collection of vintage mic and ribbons, Neve and Trident preamps. A vintage drum set recorded in a 80m2 sounding recording studio with one of Norways most renowned drummers, Børge Fjordheim. Two distinct signature effects are included in the patches: The MPC BEAT and the AMPEX601. They sound remarkable on their own, but adds a very cool edge when mixed in with the other signals. With multiple dynamic layers, options, RR variations and mic positions, it’s easy to make this set sound great in any style, with probably any kind of beat. Mic positions and recording chain has been fine-tuned throughout a decade of recording drums in this room.
