To recreate this much-loved electric piano classic we hunted high and low for a top-quality original. We unearthed a magnificent 1973 suitcase which spent weeks undergoing painstaking specialist restoration. Once back to peak condition we began detailed recording to capture every nuance of its original sound. Electric S offers almost limitless customisation options. Instantly manipulate sustain resonance, key noises, release, and reverse samples, and virtually adjust the distance between tines and pick-ups at the tweak of a button. Experiment with classic electric piano effects such as Tremolo, Chorus, Amp Simulation, Delay and Reverb in the FX section. Or blend your electric with acoustic: in addition to recording electrical output signals of the 1973 Suitcase, an extensive microphone set-up was used to capture the pure, unaltered acoustic sound of the instrument. The LFO Piano is our new product featuring a classic Rhodes MkII Electric Piano with an unique voice. The piano has been sampled using a true analog pedal rig, including a warm and raw sounding handmade analog tremolo and analog cabinet emulation pedals. The rig gives LFO Piano an unique timbre and a raw unpolished character. It perfectly fits many musical styles including RnB, Hip Hop, Cinematic and Pop. The library includes two complete sets, separately recorded with pedal tremolo on and off. Easy controls allow to activate additional designed effects, including Phaser, Chorus, Delay Reverb and Rotary.

Electric pianos are just the coolest things: whether it’s the bark of a Wurli or the soulful drive of a suitcase Rhodes, we just love our EPs, and there’s hardly a musical genre out there in which they haven’t played a key part (ha… no pun intended.) But as usual, the ones that come built-in to most DAWs are a little on the polite side. We’ve decided to fix that. Prototype EP Kontakt instrument 2Prototype EP is a painstakingly sampled Weltmeister Claviset. Or at least, it may be. That part’s a little unclear.

Digital Piano Collection

REP-10 emulates a variety of digital piano types inspired by mid 1980s to mid 1990s electric and acoustic pianos. The main sample engine of the instrument are the magnificent FM electric pianos sampled from Yamaha TG77. There is also a large amount of other pcm pianos (e.g. acoustic, electric and synthetic) blended with the FM pianos, synth strings or pads; all layered together to create expressive and rich sounding multi set-ups.
