    Quantum Leap Rare Instruments CD1-3

    TEAM MASsiVE | 11.21.2003 | 1.55 GB

Quantum Leap Rare Instruments (from the producer of the multi-award winning Quantum Leap Brass collection) features 16 groundbreaking, ethnic, multi-sampled instruments. Rare Instruments is the most expressive ethnic library ever created, including up to 54 variations for some instruments on 3 CD-ROMs. In some cases the natural range of the original instrument has been expanded, thereby creating instruments that are more playable than the original. These instruments have been meticulously recorded in studios, not in some village in Africa on a home recorder; consequently the recording quality and standard of programming is superior to all other ethnic collections. Producer Nick Phoenix also produced Quantum Leap Brass and Quantum Leap Guitar and Bass, so you know exactly what quality to expect from this collection. Quantum Leap Rare Instruments is the Rolls Royce of ethnic collections!

Etymology formed Skeleton Crew in 1982, Tom Cora and Fred Frith’s intent was to push the resources o sound and music. As an extension of the one mn band principle, band musicians became instrument designers cnstructing musical contraptions to be played by the feet. With their four-limbes approach to music, Skeleton Crew performed hundreds of concerts in North America, Europe and Japan. This most recent Frith-Cora collaboration, recorded especially for this sound library, was performed in the fall of 1995.
