We took an amazing sounding vintage Gretsch kit, miced it with vintage mics and recorded to tape with tube gear. Just enough grit for both modern and vintage productions!
‘Samba Drums & Percussion’ is an incredible chance for producers looking for a powerful percussion library that has been performed and recorded Live and is especially suited towards producers of Hip Hop, Chillout, House, Techno, and Drum & Bass. Performed live on traditional samba drums with over 300 individual instrument stems at tempos from 85 BPM right up to 165 BPM for totally flexibility. Each instrument for this session has been recorded in isolation for maximum clarity. You will find Loops and One-Shot sounds for each instrument including traditional samba instruments. You’ll find surdo (bass drum in three sizes), caixa (snare drum), repiqe (tenor drum similar in sound to a timbale), tamborims (small, very loud drum played with splayed stick), reco-reco (metal-springed scraper), ganza and chocalho (metal shakers), agogo (two-tone bells).
“Chilled Drums Vol 1” brings authentic texture to your Chillout, Chillstep, World and Downtempo productions. Included in this pack are 135 individual drum loops, divided into 12 groups at 68 BPM. The pack contains a staggering number of fills and alternate rhythms, giving you all the flexibility you need to build the rhythmic backbone for your tracks or simply add a little extra spice. Loops range from spacious, subtle rhythms, to more robust beats, allowing you to mix and match with maximum flexibility. Chilled Drums Vol 1 features the rhythmic talents of Kyle Parke, a London-based drummer with extensive performance and teaching experience. The loops were recorded with high end mics and played on a Limited Edition Mapex Orion kit with HHX, AAX, and Vault Sabian cymbals.
As the 80s sound is back and has been creeping up in modern chart topper tracks by major artists, as well as new soundtracks for tv series and film, we couldn’t hold back and had to release a drum plugin based on the hit sound of the 80s. Retro Hit is inspired from the pop/ dance and rock sound of popular bands and artists from the 1980s. The plugin provides 50 Drum kits of Kicks, Snares, Hats, Cymbals, Claps, Toms ,FX and Percussion which are available as processed versions already treated with eq, compression and reverb, and also some dry versions. We wanted to provide the processed sounds as well, so that the producer/ musician can be instantly inspired and can get to producing music , rather than tweaking the raw sounds from scratch. Dry untreated versions are also provided for those who want to tweak them on their own. The Plugin provides drum kits of 12 sounds per patch. These as visible as buttons that light up when played on the GUI.
