    Classical Guitarist KONTAKT

    DISCOVER | 11 MAY 2014 | 456 MB

“Classical Guitarist”, is a beautifully sampled and hugely diverse classical guitar. When programming this vst, we decided to work out some sort of system that would let the instrument keep the full natural attack on every sample/note, whilst still allowing the instrument to be played to a tempo comfortably, and without feelings of latency.  Complete with up to three true dynamic levels, each with up to three round robins, giving a total of nine variations pernote! Fully functional, and controllable true sampled hammer-ons and pull-offs, as well as harmonics are also included. We also sampled all notes over with a different motion to simulate chord playing. This way, you can also play realistic strummed chords, and you can change back and forth between finger picking and strumming via key switches. The full version of Kontakt 5 or above is required to run this instrument. It will not run on the free version of Kontakt player.

      Introduction to Classical Music TUTORiAL

      P2P | March 12 2015 | 6.6 GB

Every day around the world, billions of people listen to music of one sort or another, and millions listen to Western classical music. Why do we do it? Because it’s fun? Because it energizes or relaxes us? Because it keeps us current, allows us to understand what’s happening in past and popular culture? The pull of music–especially classical music—has never been explained. The aim of this course is to do just that: To explicate the mysteries and beauties of some of Western cultures greatest musical compositions—among them masterpieces of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, and Puccini. We begin with the elements of music, breaking classical musical into its components of pitch, duration, and sound color, allowing us to better understand how music works. Next, we proceed to the compositions themselves, starting with the Middle Ages and Renaissance, to show how Western music developed in ways unique to the West. Ultimately, we reach the masters, commencing with Bach. What makes his music great? Why does it move us? What should we listen for? And so we proceed down through Western musical history, visiting virtually the people who created it and the places where they did so. By the end, we hope all of us have become more human (enriched our personalities) and had a rollicking good time!

Roses are given as a sign of love and passion, so we chose the name Rosella to represent the passion that created this instrument. The guitar is itself a passionate instrument, and we made this instrument with the aim of creating a truly realistic and comprehensive version of the classical guitar. Guitar libraries are aplenty in the sampling world, but most focus on the more modern use of guitars. The best you’ll get is sustained samples and…well, that’s pretty much it. Not so with Rosella. This guitar was sampled with as much love as any orchestral instrument. After 17 hours of recording stretched over a few weeks (with many kebabs consumed), we captured over 6500+ samples of 16 different articulations. This is a comprehensively sampled library, resulting in a truly expressive sound.

Koto Nation was created to truly capture the beautiful sounds of three traditional Japanese instruments: the Koto, Bass Koto, and Shamisen, as performed by koto legend Masayo Ishigure (Memoirs of a Geisha w/ Yo-Yo Ma and John Williams). The instruments were intimately mixed and recorded with multiple dynamic levels and round-robin variations for maximum realism and playability.

Sitar Nation captures the sounds of four traditional North Indian instruments with incredible detail. While many world or ethnic instrument collections are very ‘broad’, they provide only an overview of each instrument and not enough to create truly realistic performances or sequences. This library offers much greater depth, enough to create not only convincing rhythm or accompaniment parts, but true solo performances as well!
