Berlin Techno was always connected with the origins of Techno from Detroit with artists like Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson and the Underground Resistance crew. This sample pack is a blend of this unique techno sound with Berlin style hard beats influenced by Berghain and Tresor Club. You will find everything you need to produce a Berlin style Techno tracks within this sampel pack like beat loops, chord loops, hihat loops, bass loops, vocal loops and many oneshot samples. All sounds in this pack work in DAWs like Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase or Bitwig as well as in hardware like Akai MPC samplers, Elektron Analog Rytm or MASCHINE.

Berlin Takeover is a Trap construction kit influenced by the heavy sound of European Trap with German flavor inspired by artists like Fler, Bonez MC, and Kollegah. This pack is based on five Construction Kits loaded with melodies and drums. Inside you’ll find individual stems of each track for you to construct your beats just the way you want. MIDI files are included to give you the freedom to apply melodies to any instrument you choose.
This is a light version of the Berlin Concert Grand piano library. This instrument is based on a Bechstein D 280. It originally appeared in the Akoustik Piano software. Despite its age, I think it’s still quite useful as a lightweight piano library with a slightly unique tone. The samples in the original release were in 24-bit 44.1kHz WAV format. The samples were converted to 16-bit files. A null test with the original samples results in a peak of -87dB, which won’t be audible by any means! The samples were converted to KONTAKT’s proprietary NCW format, and then packed into NKX containers for convenience. The result is a reduction in size of around 82%, and space savings of 2.2GB!
This sample pack represents interpretation of classic underground Dub Techno which was mainly shaped in Berlin’s Berghain, Tresor and various Techno bunkers around the globe. Thanks to Hardwax Records this style has got a solid place in Techno history with artists like Mautizio, Basic Channel, Mono Junk, Vainqueuer, Deepchord, Porter Ricks, Shed, Rhythm & Sound just to name a few. This fine collection of loops and oneshots is full of analog warmth and noisy distortion from hardware like Modular Synths and guitar stomp boxes as well as field recordings and noises from abandoned factory halls and industrial gear. The oneshot samples can also be imported in hardware sampler like Akai MPC, Toraiz SP-16 or Elektron.
