ACDGEN is a Max for Live advanced pattern generator that lets you create MIDI sequences using one of eight different algorithms and manipulate these patterns in many different ways. It’s a powerful tool for live performance and music production.
Factoid is a Max For Live device that allows you to create endless rhythmical variations of audio clips. It uses machine learning to decompose a sound into a set of layers that are randomly shifted in time to change the temporal structure of the clip. Create new drum patterns on-the-fly, turn melodies into textures, randomize full mixes and experiment with any kind of sound! Factoid is not a loop slicing device: based on the same machine learning decomposition engine than Factorsynth, it is able to extract components that overlap in time in the original sample. For example, in a drum loop, it can often separate snare from kick even if they play at the same time in the original clip. Factoid is a lightweight and easy-to-use device intended for live performance: you can sync its output with the Live set’s tempo, and adjust the clip’s pitch, just as with regular clips on session view.
What is DRG? DRG or Dual Rhythm Generator is a Max for Live device capable of generating clocks and rhythms that can be used with analog synthesizers and drum machines via control voltage. By using a combination of two clock generators and an optional boolean logic operator, DRG can generate anything from simple clock divisions to complex rhythms. DRG is great for clocking analog sequencers, triggering envelopes, sequencing drum modules and etc. DRG requires an audio interface with DC-Coupled outputs or an Expert Sleepers ES-3 / ES-4 / ES-40 module.

J74 BassLine is a plug-in for Ableton Live (Max for Live) specialized in bass line progressions. The key idea behind this device is to have a single, flexible tool for bass line programming which combines both rhythm and harmony together. In terms of rhythm J74 BassLine makes use of groove, swing, legato, glide, accent and humanize dynamics. From the harmony point of view the tool works having knowledge of scales, chords and progressions, combining these with the rhythmic pattern creation. The bass-lines get automatically adapted to the progression, on a chord by chord basis, remaining in-key to the selected scale (if you wish it to). This works at its best when J74 BassLine is combined with J74 Progressive (another J74 tool set), in Linked Mode. By combining the two tools you have a single, integrated environment for quickly sketching harmonic and rhythmic material in Ableton Live.
Modular Sequencer is a Max for Live Step Sequencer for Ableton Live 10. The Modular Sequencer is a very flexible Sequencer, where you can patch every module with any other. You can create Sequences from concrete & repetitive to totally endless & random. The eight Sequencers can run in Sync or every single Sequencer can with it’s own speed. Four of the eight sequencers are Trigger Sequencers to Trigger or to switch actions. The other four Sequencers can send out Values and Triggers (thru the Threshold)
