Bazille is a large modular system combining digital oscillators with analogue-style filters and modelled effects, with a flexibility that only modular patching can provide.
A virtual analog effect inspired by classic bucket-brigade delays (bbd), but extended with modern features. We called our new baby “Colour Copy” because it can deliver the kind of colouration people still love in classic bbd units, but with a wider variety of colours. Colour Copy started life as the little delay unit called “Lyrebird” we built into Repro-1, but the sound was too good not to be developed further and become an fx plug-in.
Hive: lightweight synth, heavyweight sound Sleek, streamlined and super fast. Hive was built for speed. An effortless workflow, low cpu use and a single page interface means you can build your tracks in no time. Being ‘fast and simple’ does not mean sacrificing sound quality or creative control. Hive is packed with features, controls and enough flexibility to deliver stunning sounds. A lightweight synth with a heavyweight sound.
In the 1990s, PCM synths were at their peak, but club scene artists were already searching for a more flexible, analog sound, hinting at the coming analog revival of the 2000s.
It was in this context that the Prophecy was announced in 1995, offering more flexibility and timbral capabilities than ever before heard. Defined by the cutting edge digital signal processing technology and a DSP chip formerly used exclusively for effects processing, the Prophecy Solo Synthesizer is now available as a software plugin, with the ease of use, polyphony, and modern features necessary for today’s music production.
Introduced back in 1988, the M1’s popularity steadily grew to exceed an amazing 100,000 users. As the first workstation synthesizer, it was a definitive element in the sound of the late ‘80s through early ‘90s. Along with its innovative “workstation” concept, the M1’s “AI” (Advanced Integrated) synthesis system used PCM waveforms and digital effects to deliver fully magesy complete program and combination sounds. As a pioneer of PCM tone generation, it was notable not just for the reality of its sound, but also for the distinctive resonance and tonal character that demonstrated the high level of Korg’s voicing technology. From the famous “M1 Piano” sound through electric pianos, organs, synth pads, drums, and picked basses, numerous sounds available only from the M1 were taken up by musicians and producers around the world, and are still in use today. Although today’s high bit-rate and high sample-rate sound libraries deliver greatly improved audio quality, it is difficult to find sounds with real presence, sounds that can’t be described purely in terms of specifications – sounds that are available only from the M1. The M1 software synthesizer reconstructs the M1’s sound engine into an eight-part multi-timbral tone generator featuring up to 256-note polyphony.
A flexible spring reverb box-of-tricks. If you’re familiar with Bazille, you might already have come across its built-in spring unit. We took that one, then modelled two more reverb tanks, paired it with drive section, filter stage, envelope, and mod matrix. It emulates a hand-picked selection of the most popular units you will find in classic guitar and instrument amplifiers, recreating the odd character of real springs.
Boost increases the loudness of audio material. Use it as a signal enhancer during mastering, or to reveal hidden details while mixing or creating new sounds. Set the Output Ceiling, dial in Attack and Release times, and use the main Boost dial to get anything from a gentle increase in average loudness to an all-out smashed-up signal. Boost applies transparent signal maximization for a professional sound, and thanks to the unique Focus control, you can maximize a signal upwardly, applying more gain to quieter sounds – NO CLIPPING, ever. A Drive control (plus extra Punch setting for transients) are on-hand to add energy and warmth to the signal.
Goliath V2 features 4 Analog Modelled Processing chains featuring ALLOY (Nickel, Iron, Steel based Transformers), TUBE, TAPE & VINYL with a drive control plus a FET based envelope and a 3 band EQ. This is a truly revolutionary and “analog” sounding tool. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised! What’s new ? Goliath, our top-selling plugin is back in a brand new avatar with a completely new sound engine and new features. This plugin now has 4 types of Saturation models – Alloy, Tube, Tape & Vinyl with Drive. We now use our Advanced DSP models featuring our own proprietary “Multi Convolution” & Component Modelling Technique to simulate “Real” hardware chains of analog gear. Additionally, the plugin now features a full FET compressor in its envelope section and a 3 band EQ plus a Low Cut Filter.
