Further ground-breaking advancements in sampler technology came from Forat in 1987, the Forat F-16 was introduced to the musical world. The first 16 bit digital sampler tailored towards drums with Midi capabilities, dynamic response to incoming signals and to this day still the fastest audio-triggering digital sampler on the market.
