    This sampling is part of the Microphone Locker Series. These presets need to be combined with my various preamps to really shine. They sound harsh on their own as I used very transparent tools to sample them, but plug them ‘virtually’ into one of my preamps to get them to sound right. A bright mic needs a soft preamp like the E-M-EYE and a smoother mic like the ribbons I offer need perhaps the brighter pres like the TCS ( API ). Up to you to experiment but that is why having the full array of my preamps can turn this collection into a powerful sound sculpting arsenal. This particular ribbon microphone has already become a modern classic, having the ability to take away that digital edge that is apparent especially in the high end. Layer on your tracks for that full vintage warmth that only the frequency response of a real mic can give. However the closer settings exhibit the proximity effect so do use an EQ or transparent filter to correct where appropriate. Sampled at three distances you should be able to have enough variety to use on a few choice instruments.

    This soundpack is all about high voltage. We risked our lives to serve you highly unique and exciting electricity sound effects. All sounds are recorded, edited and mastered in High Definition Audio @ 24 Bit, 192 KHz. With 02 Electricity you get 221 soundfiles containing 4.89 GB (@192 kHz) of electricity sound effects. The recordings for this soundpack took place at three different locations. One part of the soundpack features good old arc welding. We had a couple of extensive free field welding sessions where we performed on different kinds of metal and used mixed types of welding rods. Really cool, rich and almost rhythmical sound effects derive from this session.

    This is a superb sampling of an E-M-Eye mastering EQ known for girth and weight especially in the low end – Even without any curves it adds a transformer magic all on its own. This is the DSOTM sound ITB. Add some heft to your tracks with ease. Naturally this equaliser is at home whether you are mixing or mastering. Works well with the Waves Q-clone Package that I made with all knob positions of the hardware.Get it here or GET THE BUNDLE HERE. Painstakingly sampled in 0.5 Db steps across the whole range of the hardware. Natural yet coloured this EQ can add that final polish to your tracks where colour is part of the desired result. Please note that these require a fully licensed Nebula Pro license to enjoy. ( WHAT IS A MOJO SET? A common complaint facing Nebula users is the GUI and the workflow which may require a number of steps that an algorithmic plugin simply avoids. For example, to get more than one band of equalisation in most cases you need multiple instances of the plugin and the bands don’t always interact like the hardware would. But the sound is stellar. You also have a limited level of dynamic levels with eqs in a lot of cases. A common complaint of accurate algorithmic plugin emulations is that they possess the correct curves of an eq but lack the warmth, depth and 3 D qualities that the hardware does. In other words the mojo. They have fully interacting bands and often an accurate GUI that people are familiar with. The Mojo series are samplings to give you the tone of the hardware that allows for a hybrid approach . Simply put, with Eqs and compressors you can use your favourite emulation plugin to control the action and curves and just use my presets to add the much needed clarity, 3D quality, dynamics, warmth etc. It is my attempt to allow you to use your favourite plugin but to add the mojo that plugins lack.

    Many of us love the old portastudio cassette recorder sound because many of us started this gig on cheap tape. The pres are simple and yet have a smooth rolling off that makes for a nice smooth rendition. This pre surprised me at how useful it is. Giving a lovely glow it can be used to give more body and definition. Very nice , classy sound for a cheap preamp.
