Tank Drum features samples from a famous steel tongue drum. Also called hank drums, these instruments are usually made out of propane tanks with tongues of different sizes and tuned in different scales. The instrument we have sampled features 8 tongues and it’s tuned in E minor pentatonic. It was played both with hands and rubber mallets along with some sound effects with hands and brushes. The sound has a long release and is rich in harmonics.
The Energy Bow Guitar library is an expressive Kontakt instrument made from recordings of a Fender American Standard Strat played with an E‑Bow. Sampled chromatically from a drop tuned D2 to A5. We fitted a Seymour Duncan Little ’59 humbucker for extra sustain and everything was recorded cleanly through an Inward Connections Vac Rac 4000 pre-amp. 24 Bit/44.1kHz.
“Zero Dawn”, the first instrument in our new cinematic loops series. All libraries in this collection have been created by composer/sound designer David J. St-Hill, who has lent his gritty & atmospheric signature sound on feature films, video games, and EMMY nominated documentaries meanwhile working for some of the top sample library companies in the world. Extensive processing of analog synths, custom Reaktor instruments and manipulated audio give this library its cinematic feel, ranging from dark and gritty to unnerving and glitchy. All loops inside of Kontakt or in Apple Loop format can be tempo synced to follow any tempo when applicable Using “Zero Dawn” inside of your favorite D.A.W has never been easier, simply drag and drop the WAV files or Apple Loops inside of your project and manipulate to taste, meaning owning Kontakt or a full version of Kontakt is NOT required to use these sounds, however a full version of Kontakt 5.4 or higher is required to use the loops inside of its Kontakt engine.
Inspired by a legendary 4 voice Japanese analogue synthesizer from the late 1970s, ‘J4’ also includes an extremely comprehensive sequencer. ‘J4’ features 2 different sets of samples – one set recorded ‘DI’, with a NEVE style pre-amp/eq and boutique valve mixer at 48khz/24 bit. The second set uses the same method, but has also been recorded to brand new ‘old-stock’ tape at 15ips on a Studer A807 quarter inch reel-to-reel recorder
PD1000 is a highly detailed library of sounds sampled from the Casio CZ1000, developed for Kontakt 4 and higher. In total, there are 108 patches (including all of the original ROM sounds), made from 1,349 individual samples. All samples were recorded in 24 bit at 44.1 kHz through an Inward Connections Vac Rac 4000 pre-amp, into an RME Fireface 800.
