Ultra Rare Triple Synthesizer and Dual Symphonic Organ

The Affinity SK50D is a Kontakt Library Replication of the ultra-rare Yamaha SK50D dual keyboard synthesizer and symphonic organ. Produced over 40 Years ago in very few numbers, we captured every nuance of this nostalgic and unique multi-timber instrument. It includes 5 full-featured modules including a giant solo monophonic synth, a 3 oscillator polyphonic synth and string machine, a monstrously unique 3 oscillator monophonic bass synth, a 2 timber lush lower organ and an adjustable 9 drawbar style upper organ with an additional 3 timber perk layers. * 100% Analogue Captured We modeled this 100% Analogue instrument to behave like it was originally intended and worked hard to capture its aesthetic look, function, and sound. We used premium AD/DA converters and a pure signal chain to preserve an authentic sound signature. We then built each module to behave how the original instrument did not only in itself but in relation to each other. We made sure our multi patches work with a single modern midi controller and the originally intended two keyboard setup. Every parameter can be automated within Kontakt and mapped to your preferred CC preferences.

The concept behind Magnetism was conceived by designing sounds and interesting textures running an electric guitar played with an E-bow through a range of effects pedals. The E-bow is a device that creates a magnetic field that causes the string of the guitar to oscillate continuously, generating a sound similar to a string being bowed and the first samples collected were released in the popular Kontakt freebie Magnetica. The concept was then expanded to create a sample library inspired by the physical phenomenon of the laws of attraction and the result is… MAGNETISM, a contemporary, cinematic sound design device capable of creating experimental yet incredibly inspiring sound textures to use in your next track, film or game score. Each Magnetism “Volume” focuses on a specific type of texture and features two main layers: the first (“MAIN”) is the primary sound source, the second (“TEXTURE”) adds spark and continuous variation to the top end.

‘Super Flexible Blend System. ‘The PSI Kick Drum is a massive collection of kick drums with loads of added control and functionality to enable you to sculpt the perfect kick drum. Blend and control each drum with additional Trigger and Sub Samples. Use the trigger samples to add extra bite to the attack with a selection of acoustic and electronic triggers to choose from. Control the Tuning, Pan, Attack, Release, High and Lo Pass Filters for each trigger independently to the main kick. Each Trigger also has two microphone positions to blend together to craft the perfect trigger. Use the Sub to add bottom end to the core kick sound with an additional 13 tuned subs and 13 misc subs to choose from. Control the tuning and release for each sub individually. Each Drum has 5 microphone positions and up to 27 Velocity Layers.

The Viola da Gamba is a 6-stringed bowed and fretted instrument that first appeared in Spain in the mid to late 15th century and was most popular in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Viola da Gamba was recorded at the MGM Scoring Stage in Los Angeles. This instrument is strung with 6 gut strings that are tuned to (relative to Kontakt): D1, G1, C2, E2, A2, and D3. Viols are fretted in a manner similar to early guitars or lutes, by means of movable wrapped-around and tied-on gut frets. The movable nature of the tied-on frets permits the viol player to make adjustments to the tempering of the instrument.  On this particular instrument, the frets only extend 7 semi-tones on each string.
