Palace Arcade is an 80s inspired soundbank for the DeepMind 12 hardware synth, containing 64 patches. This action packed soundbank covers a wide range of personal favourite retro styles like Synthwave, Chillwave and classic 80s tones, but with a modern twist. Cutting basses, cinematic pads, beautiful retro poly sounds and crispy leads all made using the DeepMind’s incredible effects engine to take classic analog sounds of old into something new and exciting. The mission with this collection was to make the kind of sounds Michael Oakley would use in his own music productions, while capturing the blissful-painful, nostalgic and positive energy of the 80s.

The soundbank is created on a DeepMind 12 but all patches are fully compatible with both the DeepMind 6 and the DeepMind 12D. To experience the full potential of the patches, the extra voices from the 12 or 12D are highly recommended. Demo track info: The demo below are 20 individual patches, directly from the soundbank. No external processing or effects are used. See the description of the demo track, for a breakdown of the patches being played in the demo.

All patches have been calibrated to leave a few decibels of head room at max velocity and full polyphony. You can download a Palace Arcade patchlist in PDF, click here. Included with the soundbank is a PDF guide, describing how to transfer the patches from your computer to the DeepMind synth, using the DeepMind app.
