GeoSynth is a fully playable video geometry synthesiser and visualiser for Ableton Live, with a strong focus on performance as well as precision editing. Plug in your MIDI drum pad controller or keyboard and you’ll literally be making exciting abstract shapes in seconds. If you don’t have a MIDI controller, don’t worry. As this is a MIDI effect, you can control it using MIDI clips in Ableton the same way you would any other native device. Record loops into clips, overdub, tweak all in real time, create different clips for different scenes and record the clips into the arrange page to create intricately delivered geometric visuals to go with your music, and of course you can pop out the full screen to a projector and jam with it live to add a performance based visual element to your live sets.
