The PTC-2A is a superb emulation of the legendary Pultec EQP-1A, one of the most sought-after vintage equalizers. Separate LF Boost and Attenuate controls provide the signature Pultec sounds, while, as in the original hardware, a transformer-coupled tube amplifier stage further enhances the vintage qualities. Innovative filter technology provides a genuine analogue response without requiring conventional CPU-intensive techniques.

The FC70 emulates the legendary smooth, effortless dynamic control and uniquely musical character of the classic Fairchild 670 limiter. Modelled using measured data and schematics from genuine hardware, the FC70 uses a fully balanced design, combined with innovative delay-free feedback topology to emulate the original circuitry. The sidechain includes the fast attack and program dependent release settings of the original, combined with Lateral / Vertical, Independent and Linked stereo channel modes.

PTC-2A Pultec EQP-1A emulation for Mac and PC updated The PTC-2A is an emulation of the classic Pultec EQP-1A equalizer, recreating the signature sounds of one of the most sought-after vintage EQs. This is a free update for existing users, and addresses the following issues:

Mac:
Fixes Mac VST GUI (re)initialization issue apparent in some hosts. Demo mode splash screen prevented editor GUI from becoming ‘front and key’ window in some (VST) hosts on first launch.

Mac and Windows:
Improved tube amplifier ‘warm up’ behaviour.
Input protection against spurious sample values from misbehaving plugins (improbably large values or NaNs).

Based on the Pultec EQH equalizer, the PTH-2A similarly provides a cost-effective subset of features found on the popular PTC-2A / EQP-1 emulation. Using the same filter technology as the PTC-2A, separate LF Boost and Attenuate controls provide the signature Pultec Low-end sound while a transformer-coupled tube amplifier emulation further enhances the vintage qualities.
