SONiKA is an English VOCALOID developed and distributed by ZG Limited, and was released in July 2009 for the VOCALOID2 engine. SONiKA is advertised as a “virtual vocalist modeled on the voice of a young girl pop singer”; her voice provider has never been revealed. She is the first native English speaking VOCALOID to use a character design and profile as part of the product. SONiKA was released with profile/biographical information on the back cover of the software package, similar to the other VOCALOID2 products. Her personality also shows in her “tweets”.

Prima is advertised as a “virtual vocalist modeled on the voice of a professional soprano opera singer”; her voice provider has never been revealed. The name “Prima” comes from the term “Prima Donna,” meaning “first lady.” It is an Italian term used to describe the female with the leading role in a theatrical and opera production. It also refers to the one with the most talent, who was usually a soprano singer.

Luo Tianyi (洛天依) is a Chinese VOCALOID formerly developed by Bplats, Inc. under the YAMAHA Corporation, and was created in collaboration with Shanghai HENIAN.
On April 16, 2018, an official website, twitter account, YouTube account, Facebook account, and SoundCloud account were launched for Tianyi Japanese. According to the Weibo account’s announcement post, her Japanese package would include 2 voicebanks: Normal and Sweet. Tianyi Japanese was confirmed to be sampled from two voice providers: Shan Xin and Kano, a Japanese Utaite. It was also announced that the Japanese package would be available for preorder on April 23. On Tianyi Japanese’s official website, it was confirmed that the package was scheduled to release on May 21, 2018 as digital and physical copies.

Luo Tianyi (洛天依) is a Chinese VOCALOID formerly developed by Bplats, Inc. under the YAMAHA Corporation, and was created in collaboration with Shanghai HENIAN. She was the grand winning entry of the “VOCALOID™ CHINA” contest which was held for choosing the design of the first Chinese VOCALOID. Tianyi was released in July 2012 for the VOCALOID3 engine. She was updated to the VOCALOID4 engine in December 2017 and was developed and distributed by Shanghai HENIAN. it was announced that Tianyi’s V4 package would be set for pre-order beginning on October 1 and that a sale would run from October 1 to October 31. It was confirmed that her V4 update would have two voicebanks: “Méng” (萌; English: Normal; literally “cute” or “moe”) and “Níng” (凝; English: Power; literally: “solid”, “cohesion”, or “gathering strength”).
