Stepic isn’t just a powerful and versatile polyphonic step sequencer. 8 additional and fully integrated modulation sequencers make it a true sound shaping tool. Use them to automate any parameter (e.g. Filter Cutoff, Wavetable Position, Effect Amount) of your favorite synthesizers or effect devices. With its support for MIDI CC, Stepic offers you parameter control for both software plug-ins and hardware devices. By assigning different tempos and sequence lengths to the modulation sequencers, Stepic lets you create deep, polyrhythmic parameter progressions that add a lot of motion and uniqueness to your sound. And if that’s not enough, bring the 200+ random generators into play ;-)
Hello everyone. Today’s Max For Live download is this very simple VJ device. You can load two movie files and crossfade between them, and apply a tiny bit of audio reactivity. This is very basic and more of a starting point for people who are interested in making M4L devices for mixing video playback. Download attached. See you soon.
What about clip gain, transpose, un/warp and change warp mode directly from the clip in the timeline? Or with shortcuts? Sure! Simply use this device, ClipGain, oh yeah! MaxForLive is your friend, as always.
Drone Lab is a place of sustain. Get lost in deep listening with complex, evolving threads of tone and texture, generative noise, multisampled instruments, plus devices and Racks designed for experimentation and improvisation. Microtuner by Ableton is a MIDI device that lets you import, edit, and generate microtonal scales. Load scale files, create custom scales, and morph between tunings in real time – all with polyphony, MPE, and Lead/Follow modes to sync your scales across instruments.
Now in public beta is CV Tools, a new Pack of 10 Max for Live devices that generate or receive Pitch, Control, Clock and Trigger CV. Soon you’ll be able to receive and modulate CV between your modular or other CV-based gear and Ableton Live 10 using a compatible, DC-coupled audio interface. You’ll also be able to use Live as the tempo leader or set it to follow your modular system clock. Plus, even if you don’t own a modular setup, the Rotating Rhythm Generator and CV Utility devices can add modular-style workflow inside Live or to hardware setups that don’t use CV-based equipment. CV Tools is being developed by Ableton in collaboration with Skinnerbox.
