You really don’t need that many knobs to get a great sound. The effect pedals for guitars are a perfect example of this. Their limited functionality is more than compensated by their fun to use. Redline Reverb II is a musical reverb that excels in both warmth and transparency at extremely low CPU usage. It is a fully algorithmic and true stereo reverb with possibilities far beyond the conventional. Unlike conventional algorithmic reverbs, Redline Reverb does not need separate plate, hall, and room algorithms. Instead it features a comprehensive yet intuitive parameter set that allows you to easily recreate any given reverb characteristic, leaving you free to create lush smooth vocal reverbs, convincing room simulations, almost infinite reverb tails, synth pad and delay effects, and everything inbetween. Redline Monitor is a listening, mixing, and mastering tool that makes your headphones experience more natural: as if the sound came from a pair of external speakers. It replaces the extreme stereo separation that is characteristic for headphones by the detailed stereo image of near-field monitor speakers without any detrimental effect on the audio. Basically it is a so called ‘crossfeed plugin’ with a few nifty extra’s, that add extra spatiality while keeping the sound as clean as possible. It combines filtering, frequency-dependent delaying, mid/side processing, and room simulation to create a convincing acoustic soundstage that allows you to properly localize sound sources. It also adjusts the relative levels of panned sources as they appear on speakers, and moves the soundstage from an indeterminate location inside your head (with headphones) towards a clearly defined location in front of you.

With Cascade 112dB gives you a completely new form of synthesis to play with, creating sounds you could never create before. Cascade synthesis is based on a complex delay network that can densify a sound up to 5832 times. That doesn’t mean however that a sound you create with cascade will per definition sound ‘denser’. It can also be more lush and spacious, depending on the settings you choose. What makes Cascade really unique however is that a sound can develop over time, adding extra dimensions to it. Jaws is what we coined a ‘dynamic bitcrusher’. It has everything you would expect from a high-quality bitcrusher: bit reduction, sample rate reduction, a pre-amp, an input and output filter, and more. But it also features a host of modulation options. You can modulate the bit depth, the sample rate, as well as the mix. On top of that Jaws also has a resonant multi filter that you can modulate as well. That means you can use Jaws in the usual way: to add a little of the charm of the samplers from the 80s by reducing the bit depth or the sample rate. An input and output filter, a vintage colored pre-amp and u-law noise reduction make it possible to approximate this old school sound more closely. Or use Jaws to destroy your sound completely if you are more into ‘industrial’.
