This introduction to the world of professional orchestral sounds is the opposite of a “light” version – it is the largest, broadest collection in the entire Horizon Series. The feedback from users of the award-winning VSL orchestral sample libraries was the driving force behind the creation of Opus 1. It contains handpicked samples and Performance Elements from the Vienna Symphonic Library’s Pro Edition. The revolutionary Legato Performance instruments and a selection of the most important single note articulations allow for superior arrangements with the best possible realism. Opus 1 was designed for convenience. Its logical, consistent structure is easy to grasp, instruments can be exchanged without having to figure out altered program numbers or unexpected controller assignments. If you want maximum orchestral output with a single computer system, this is the library of choice! Opus 1 excels at efficiency, economy and unencumbered creativity, while sacrificing nothing in the realism and expressiveness that the Vienna Symphonic Library has become famous for.
STRINGS is part of the ORCHESTRAL CUBE COMPLETE ORCHESTRAL PACKAGE recorded in a specially built “Silent Stage”, the top musicians, producers and engineers from Vienna’s wealth of classically trained talent gathered their skills to create a true orchestral sampling marvel.
The Horizon Series’ Mallets collection features all of the mallet instruments from the Vienna Symphonic Library Pro Edition as well as temple blocks and wood blocks. It is the largest and most comprehensive library for mallet instruments ever created. It’s extensive articulations include a variety of single strokes played with up to six different mallets, tremolos, chord tremolos and glissando for every instrument as well as loads of special effects like bowed notes (vibraphone, marimba), notes played with a superball, rubber, fingernails (marimba), cluster mallets (xylophone) and more.
This is Kontakt 5.3 instrument. It will not work with any earlier versions of Kontakt.
Instrument samples are compressed. Instruments use from 8 to 45 MB of RAM alone. Do not use much cpu and the modulation wheel is not assigned to anything.
This is Kontakt 5.3 instrument. It will not work with any earlier versions of Kontakt. The Vienna Concert Guitar is from the single instrument series of VSL. I have compiled this instrument out of giga files, which are the only ones that can be found on the net regarding Concert Guitar.
