  • Nordic Upright Piano v2 MULTiFORMAT-KRock

    Nordic Upright Piano v2

    Team: KRock | October 19 2012 | 483.58 MB

    FORMAT: EXS24 / HALiON / KONTAKT / SF2 / SFZ

The piano we have chosen for this SampleSet is the Futura II, made by Nordiska Pianofabriken (Vetlanda, Sweden, in 1974). The complete SampleSet contains 713 individual 24 bit Mono WAV samples. The goal behind the Nordic Upright Piano is to capture the ring and dynamics of a good essential Swedish piano. This is a sampled piano that gives you freedom to place it in any ambient environment of your choice. The instrument was sampled in mono and the position of the close positioned microphone was changed per each octave. Then the piano was “re-built” in the digital domain by giving each string it’s own position in the stereo field. The result is a dry piano that gives you the flexibility to place it in any sonic environment you like.

    Astrosphere HALion KONTAKT

    Team KRock | June 29 2012 | 706 MB

Astrosphere is a collection of soundscape loops inspired by science fiction. Astrosphere evokes alien habitats, future technology, and spaces that defy the laws of physics. Incorporating circuit bending, granular and frequency modulation synthesis, and bespoke recordings of electric and mechanical devices, Astrosphere provides nearly an hour of imaginative material for film, game, theatre and radio production. Composers of electronic and ambient music will also find the soundscapes inspiring and useful. Each soundscape is over one minute in length, and meticulously edited to loop seamlessly without obviously repeating.

    CR-8000 MULTiFORMAT

    FANTASTiC | 15 June 2016 | 432 MB

Real CR-8000 is the Roland CR-8000 sampled in extreme detail. We have sampled each sound in up to 16 different single hits. We also programmed rolls when possible to capture the true behavior of the CR-8000 when a sound is rapidly repeated. All hits and rolls have been sampled in both normal and accented versions. All grooves of the CR-8000 has been recorded in 4 bars and sound-groups are separated, you get both a “mix” loop including all sounds for that particular groove and kick/snare, hihats, cymbals, Congas, Cowbells etc. as separated loops for all grooves in both normal and shuffle versions. We recorded the grooves in low tempo around 60 BPM.

    Electone D-85 MULTiFORMAT

    Team SUNiSO | 14 Jan 2010 | 710.42 MB

    (COMPLETE SampleSet)

The Yamaha Electone D-85 is the source of sounds in our fourth volume of the Vintage Keyboard Collection. The D-85 was released in 1980 and designed as an home organ a grandmas organ, for the “loaded” grandmas though, cause the price tag was around $10000. The D-85 is completely analog and uses a technique called PASS (Pulse Analog Synthesis System) developed for the legendary Electone GX-1. The sound of the D-85 is rich warm big and very much analog synth and not typical organ. The Gothic choir sounds of the D-85 is absolutely superb and “Kraftwerk” type of sounding. The strings and pads are so rich and warm, you gonna love them!.

    TEAM SPiRiT | 14.03.2010 | 624 MB

The Persian Santur is a trapezoid shaped instrument with 72 strings and a 3 octave range. Similar types of instrument could be found all over the world; “Santoor” in India, “Yang qin” in China, “Hammered Dulcimer” in England and “Hackbräde” in Sweden. They are all slightly different in the amount of strings and the timbre but with similar constructions. We have sampled the Persian Santur with 2 types of mallets in 3 velocities, “Santur 1” (hard mallets) and “Santur 2” (soft mallets). You also get a huge set of different glisses, fx both tonal and percussive divided into 6 programs.
