The “Sound & Vision Gigapack” is an extensive two-volume sample library designed for Roland S-series samplers, offering a comprehensive collection of sounds and loops across various instruments and genres. ​

Volume 1:
CD-ROM A is dedicated entirely to drums and loops, this disc provides hundreds of samples from classic kits and drum machines, including funk, rock, ballad, and iconic 808/909 sounds. It also features analog and Simmons drums, allowing users to craft custom patches. ​
CD-ROM B offers a diverse array of instruments such as “Classical Choirs,” various synthesizers (both analog and digital), vocoders, organs, guitars, pianos, brass, and orchestral sounds.

Volume 2:
CD-ROM A includes guitar licks across multiple styles (pop, rock, funk, reggae), brass sections, pianos, and synths from instruments like Morpheus and DX7. ​
CD-ROM B features CR-78 analog drum loops, vocal shouts, analog synth drums and percussion, special effects, dance effects, atmospheric sounds, and real-world effects such as nature and urban ambiances. And as a bonus, also included is the “Hallelujah” library

To use the CD-ROMs, you need a program that can read Roland CDs, such as CDxtract or Awave Studio. Simply mounting them through virtual drives will not work as intended.
