Back like it never left is the 2nd coming of the soulful groove stylings of our famed Breaks and Congas (BRKSxCNGS) Kit. Niched in the wave of back beat grooves, this breaks and percussion specialty kit is there for you to get your production that live feel you’re missing. Sometimes you just need that vibe of Marvin Gaye. Sometimes you simply need the percussive instruments out of that sample to chop, flip, manipulate, and meticulously recreate something of your own! Our approach was the same when creating the BRKSxCNGS 2 sample pack. 30 break grooves, 30 Conga grooves, at 4 different BPM. Then, each BPM uniquely mixed and blended with each break and conga groove together! There are numerous possibilities here. Extract the grooves midi information to create your own new style! Use the loops as is to get the groove going!

Kit Features:

• 60 authentic, live breaks and conga grooves in 16bit .wav format
• Conga grooves commissioned by a percussive professional who’s toured with the likes of Prince and many more
• Breaks & Congas given separately (stems) for optimal mixing. Additional blends given for use as is in each BPM as well
• Files separated by folders of BPM (75, 84, 88, and 90). Each groove is different in each BPM.
• Midi information can be extracted from grooves and impressed upon your own patterns (easily done in Ableton or similar programs)
• Textured and characterized through our processing chains for a vintage feel
